I am Martin Meyer, a wildlife photographer
based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
I have an infinite love for animals and nature.
My passion for wildlife started when I was just a young child visiting Pilanesberg National Park which is just a few hours drive from where I still live today.
I started photographing animals to document what I found on my missions to nature. I soon realized documenting saved the moment but it didn’t completely convey what I felt in those moments.
When I experience a moment in nature I get a rush which is very difficult for me to put into words.
My whole body starts to shake and I have been told I stop breathing for those few moments.
I started on my journey of enhancing my images to convey what I felt as well as well as what I found.
Some call it Art
